There are four ranks of research fellows:
Senior Research Fellow (level 1)
Principal Research Fellow (level 2)
Associate Research Fellow (level 3)
Assistant Research Fellow (level 4)

The higher the rank of the researcher, the higher is the quality of the research and writing expected.
